Influencing Dulux followers

Brief

In March 2021, Red C helped the team at AzkoNobel to successfully launch the Dulux Simply Refresh range across email marketing and social media channels. To continue the story, Dulux teamed up with a handful of home influencers and we were asked to help bring the campaign to life.

Approach

With Instagram continuing to be a fantastic source of interior design inspiration and influencer marketing rapidly growing, we knew combining the two could be a lucrative strategy for Dulux.

Influencer campaigns are a great way to humanise brands and showcase products in real life settings. Like Simply Refresh paint, the chosen influencers were fun, easy-going and creative. Each influencer had a unique story to tell and transformation to share with Dulux followers.

It was our job to create synergy between the influencer’s social media and Dulux’s owned channels. In line with the tone of voice established at launch, we produced a website article, social post and interactive Instagram story for each influencer. These assets showcased the journey of using Simply Refresh paint from start to finish and how quick and easy it really is.

Conclusion

On Dulux’s social channels, the influencer campaign led to an increased engagement and an increase in reach. The number of engagements on these posts was also higher than traditional Dulux content.
